Tom Pageler is the CEO of Prime Trust, the one-stop shop for financial infrastructure for fintech and digital asset innovators. Tom’s role is to build the business and guide the organization in its hyper-growth. With more than 20 years of experience in operations, security, and risk management, Tom has a unique perspective to help business partners exceed the industry’s highest security standards. Formerly, Tom served in numerous executive roles, including: COO of BitGo; CSO and Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Neustar; CRO and CISO at DocuSign; Deputy CISO for JPMorgan Chase, and Head of Risk Assessments and Director of Emerging Risk and Fraud Control for Visa. At Visa,  he launched the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) and remained on board of advisors during his time at JPMorgan Chase.

Earlier in his career, Tom worked in government services where he served as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service. He was one of the founding members of the San Francisco Electronic Crimes Task Force and has provided physical security for the President of the United States, the Vice President, their families, and foreign heads of state. He holds a BA in Public Administration from the University of Arizona’s Eller School of Business, an MBA from The Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
