Thomas Shea is EY’s Financial Services Crypto Tax Leader, and has been with the firm his entire 15+ year career. He serves a wide variety of digital asset native clients ranging from global centralized exchanges, defi protocols, mining operations, and U/HNWIs, and has a background serving traditional financial services institutions. While Thomas provides a broad range of tax services across planning, accounting, compliance and controversy, he’s most passionate about the technology-based solutions he’s developing  with his team to address the rapidly evolving digital asset tax reporting landscape.
