Tadge Dryja is a researcher who has invented many ground-breaking protocols in Bitcoin.  He is co-author of the Bitcoin Lightning Network, a pioneering network to scale Bitcoin usage.  He is author of Discreet Log Contracts, a non-custodial privacy preserving smart contract design implemented today in bitcoin.  His current work is on Utreexo, a seamless layer-1 scalability enhancement which will make running a fully validating node faster, cheaper and easier.

Tadge works at the MIT Digital Currency Initiative where he mentors students and new developers who will invent and build Bitcoin's next generation of technologies.
