Shaun Connell is the Executive Vice President of Power at Lancium and is applying 20+ years of experience in energy markets, trading, and asset optimization to expanding Lancium's capabilities by optimizing Lancium's portfolio of Clean Campuses that are operated as highly flexible controllable loads.

Shaun earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick and a Global Energy Executive MBA from the University of Calgary.

Prior to Lancium, Shaun built and lead a Speculative Trading and Asset Optimization Desk for a large publicly traded Power Generation Company. In his role as Head Trader, he led a 25-person team made up of Asset Optimizers, Traders, Analysts, Power Schedulers, and a Meteorologist. Under his leadership, the Desk consistently delivered on financial targets for both Proprietary Trading and Asset Optimization. As an individual - Shaun was recognized in multiple years as the top PnL contributor for the 80+ person trade floor.
