Michael Terpin is founder of BitAngels, the first bitcoin angel group, which debuted almost exactly 10 years ago at the first Bitcoin Foundation conference in San Jose.  He has advised and/or invested in bitcoin exchanges, including Kraken and Bittrex, and miners, including KnCMiner, Gryphon Mining, Rhodium, DLTx and BigWatt.  Terpin was the first bitcoiner to move to Puerto Rico to take advantage of its unique individual investor taxation decree program, the first in a wave of more than 800 bitcoin investors who have since followed, including Pantera Capital's Dan Morehead, who called Terpin "the Messiah" of the movement.  Terpin also co-founded the Caribbean Blockchain Association with Gabriel Abed and Roger Ver in 2015, and has most recently started a venture capital fund and hotel development company in Athens to pioneer making Greece a bitcoin-friendly jurisdiction.  He is a partner in Alpha Transform Holdings and CEO of Transform Ventures.  He lives in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with his wife, Maxine, and toy poodle, Monkey.
