Max Webster is the founder of Hivemind Ventures, a first check venture fund investing in Bitcoin & Lightning Network startups building the future of finance, communication, and energy.

Prior to Hivemind, Max was an investor at Version One Ventures. As a founder/operator, he helped start Bright, the leading residential solar company in Mexico, and Entiende Bitcoin, a consultancy that conducted user/market research in Latin America for Bitcoin companies like Bitso and Give Crypto.

Max is also an advisor at the Square Bitcoin Clean Energy Initiative, where he was the lead author on their recent paper about the intersection of Bitcoin and energy markets. He graduated from Yale University.
