Lucas Nuzzi has been running a Bitcoin node since 2012 and has written extensively about Bitcoin innovation, privacy, and security.

He currently leads R&D at CoinMetrics where his team strives to identify security events such as 51% attacks across crypto networks.

Previously, Lucas was in the founding teams of DAR, the first sell-side research firm exclusively focused on cryptoassets; and DACC, a crypto custodian sold to Bakkt in 2019.
