With 22 years of financial technology experience, Kirk Chapman serves as Head of Strategy for Galileo and Advisor to the CEO of SoFi.  Prior to this role he was VP of Engineering, Product, and Design (Bank) for SoFi.  In these roles Kirk not only advised the CEO on current trends and technical solutions to those trends, but also led top engineering and product initiatives for the company, solving both broad and tactical issues within the company including enterprise architecture, data, and product vision for both SoFi and Galileo.

Prior to SoFi, Kirk served as the Head of Technology for Independence National Bank from 2012-2017. He was responsible for leading and building an online lending platform to compete in the SoFi, Lending Club, Prosper marketplace and delivering online services that supported Transaction Services (payments to and from the consumer), Collections, Fraud Prevention, and Credit Decisioning, as well as, all technology and infrastructure required to support these functions.
