Keagan is the Co-founder and Head of Research at Start9, the company behind the Embassy, an essential piece of core technology for an individuals digital sovereignty toolkit. His mission is to scale sovereign access to Bitcoin to as many people and as many use cases as possible. Keagan graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Computer Science focusing on cryptography, distributed systems, and programming language design. With these skills, he spends his time trying to improve bitcoin's safety, flexibility and accessibility through his work at Start9 and in the broader OSS ecosystem.
