Jose Lemus is the CEO and Founder of IBEX. A serial entrepreneur, he has been following the Bitcoin space since 2012. In 2017 along with his brother they decided to found IBEX to give people in Central America fast, easy and secure access to Bitcoin. In 2021 IBEX helped onboard the country of El Salvador to Bitcoin by providing the Lightning infrastructure for Chivo as well as a merchant payments solution for worldwide brands such as Starbucks, Pizza Hut, Dominos, Subway and Juan Valdez.

Now looking to expand IBEX’s reach, Jose is focused on bringing LaaS (Lightning as a Service) infrastructure to clients that want to integrate the capability of delivering cross-border, cross-currency micropayments into their products.
