David Ramirez is the Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer at ForUsAll, the first retirement platform to bring cryptocurrency to the 401(k).

David has been advising employer-sponsored retirement plans for over 16 years. He led the research and development of ForUsAll’s cryptocurrency solution and has shared the approach with regulators at both the Department of Labor and the Securities and Exchange commission.

His research has focused on the diversification benefits of including cryptocurrency in retirement portfolios as well as how to create 401(k) access to cryptocurrency prudently and compliantly in an ERISA framework. David has worked closely with leading ERISA and SEC counsel as well as leading cryptocurrency custodial and exchange platforms.

Prior to co-founding ForUsAll, David helped manage over $50B in 401(k) assets at Financial Engines. There, David worked with Nobel Prize-winning economist Bill Sharpe and his team to design and implement a portfolio management system that managed $50B+ in retirement assets across 600,000 retirement accounts. The team has also been awarded a patent for their work building financial modeling to manage retirement portfolios for employees at Motorola, Citibank, Target and more.
