Discovering Bitcoin in mid-2017, Chad was captivated by the technological achievement -- prompting him to roll a blockchain from scratch as an academic exploration of consensus design and cryptography. Since then, he has been "all in" developing new Bitcoin DeFi protocols. More recently, Chad is leading the only cross-chain DEX allowing Layer1 real Bitcoin swaps to other assets - giving Bitcoin holders the ability to swap without wrapping or going through a centralized exchange. Chad is now focusing on expanding Bitcoin DeFi access to Bitcoiners - allowing other primitives such as Bitcoin lending and interest accounts.
