Ben Gagnon has been studying Bitcoin since 2010 and working in the mining industry full time since 2015. Ben has founded multiple Bitcoin companies and developed mining operations in China, Canada, and the United States before joining Bitfarms in December 2019.

Recognizing his extensive experience and early contributions to Bitfarms, Ben was promoted to Chief Mining Officer, where he plays a pivotal role in developing and managing Bitcoin mining strategies and operations for one of the largest and oldest publicly traded Bitcoin mining companies in the world.

Ben Gagnon has a B.Sc. in Economics and International Business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and an M.Sc. in Internet Computing and E-commerce with a specialty in Cyber Security from Hong Kong University and speaks English and Mandarin.
