Amanda Cavaleri is CEO of Digital Reserve Energy (DRE), a Wyoming-based Bitcoin mining operator leveraging stranded energy. DRE is focused on building future-oriented jobs in the Rockies, with a goal to help bring 5% of the US Bitcoin Hashrate to Wyoming by the May 2024 halvening. Cavaleri is also a partner at Pearl Snap Capital, an alternative investment management company, and Managing Director of APRÉS TECH, a Bitcoin advisory firm and producer of the Bitcoin Ski Summit. She holds a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from the McCombs Business School of the University of Texas at Austin.

Cavaleri believes advocacy and education are essential to realize hyperbitcoinization. She is a founding member of the board of directors of the Bitcoin Today Coalition and co-author of Bitcoin and The American Dream. Her aim in advocacy is to transcend the political divide and make America the best country in the world to build on Bitcoin. She has guest lectured at domestic and international graduate schools as well as taught foreign diplomats about emerging technology, including the digital asset landscape via the U.S. Department of State’s IVLP Exchange Program.

Cavaleri’s northstar has been the pursuit wisdom personally and for humanity. Before 2020, Cavaleri spent a great deal of time in APAC and Europe, working on her startups and, at times, alongside tech pioneers including Dr. David Chaum, PhD and Marc Fleury, PhD. Earlier in her career, she was an AARP Innovation Fellow in Washington, D.C. and held the role of Thought Leader with Carnegie Mellon University & UPMC’s Quality of Life Technology Center. Her work has been featured on PBS NewsHour, in the Denver Post, and she is a contributor to Bitcoin Magazine.
