Hyperion was founded in 2011 with the dream of building the ultimate fuel cell powerplant. In 2014 a team of automotive and spaceflight engineers conceived the XP1 to demonstrate this groundbreaking hydrogen engine.

XP1 is made to showcase a reimagined drivetrain utilizing cutting-edge storage and propulsion system pioneered at NASA.
